Lauren Price is the founder and director of Academic Independence Coaching (AIC).

 

Her work focuses on consulting with schools and supporting teachers to help implement self-regulated learning and brain-friendly teaching and study strategies in to the classroom. With over 20 years of experience in education, Lauren brings her passion for synthesizing research to create content and products that help keep her team and schools up to date with the latest successful strategies.

 

Lauren holds a master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Houston. 

Grace Schofield is our Elementary and Education Development Specialist. Grace holds her bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from the Pennsylvania State University. As a former Special Education teacher, Grace became passionate about teaching self-regulation to young children and wished she had these tools early in her academic career. She continues to build the AIC's elementary curriculum and works directly with teachers and students to help them become self-regulated learners and knowledgeable about the learning process.

Zoe Jordan's expertise lies in operations and logistics coordinating within Academic Independence Coaching. Zoe is passionate about sharing brain-friendly learning techniques and works to help impact as many students as possible. Zoe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education Psychology from the University of Houston.

Julie Raye Hudek holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Spanish Teaching. Through her work with students both in the classroom and one-on-one, Julie was inspired to extensively with educators to bring classroom teaching to the next level with the latest in brain science and learning research.
